The problem, Stefan, is that most women *have* to work to earn enough for the family. So most women can't just choose to stay at home.

As a child of divorced parents, I can, without equivocation, state that from my personal experience life was MUCH BETTER in a two parent household where Dad went to work and Mom was at home for my brothers and me.

That’s great! I so much appreciate the choice my parents made for my mother to be home until my youngest brother started school. Even then, she worked mother’s hours.
