Friend said to me: We live where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Me: Not true. We live where you can be whatever you want as long as you work for it. The problem is our ppl have been brainwashed into this victimization mentality. And they want things done for them.

My parents didn't have much. They made sure were educated beyond public education. Then we self taught by reading. 1 kid owns 2 successful businesses and is starting a 3rd. 1 has 2 Masters & is currently a stay at home mom (per their family life plan). Me? Well, I'm the loser...

I only run 2 businesses and help 5 others with payroll regs. Therefore, when I hear this shit, I know it is false. People need to realize this really is the land of opportunity. But its not the land of free hand-outs.
