Sadly, there will always be a gap within groups and between groups. Don't feel guilty for others being worse off. Help them voluntarily (but don't force others to). Don't take pride in your intellectual gift. Instead use it to develop wisdom and argue for a more free society.

You can't force intelligence (or buy it) It requires effort (in my opinion, anyway) & good genetics enhance its growth

While it is true that any and all IQs can be raised, it is equally true that our government cannot now, nor has ever in the past, improved the moral or intellectual attributes of its citizenry--social engineering is based on the premise that people are good.

For those asking, Stefan is referencing the "Head Start" program of the old days. Billions were poured on low SES status kids only for the effects to quickly fade year after year. We do not know any SES intervention to raise IQ

Just wondering how you explain that a world renowned neurosurgeon could come from a single mother in Detroit that could only read at a third grade level? I’m sure you know exactly who I’m talking about.

Think of IQ like an empty pail. Some people are born with bigger pails, some with smaller. One can fill his pail through education, and get maximum of what ones IQ can achieve, but if the pail is small, there is only so much that can be put in it.
-
Unfortunately, the pail is what it is, you cannot make it bigger, you can just fill it to the brim.

"Best experts" and "$100 billion"? Coming from a culture of fake-news politics (which implies fake science is not far behind)? Not an argument.

Was it because stupid people were at the helm?

The more I think about it, the funnier it is. Obviously need the Chinese to come help. Look at how far they’ve come and how fast.
