Sometimes personal experience does indeed comply with "universal truths" or at least patterns; and could be applied to a great deal of things. Nothing narcissistic about that.

Families would be amazed if they realized how much money they can save if they drive older vehicles, eat leftovers, going on camping vacations, and cancel cable. I work hard so the missus can stay at home- and we are both grateful for it.
