The average size of the American home has tripled since the 1950s, now Americans have far fewer children. People had kids during the Great Depression, wartime and famine. Don’t tell me you can’t afford to have a parent stay home. Life: It was paid to you: pay it forward.

I was a single mom for many years and worked full time. Both my daughters are well grounded and happy and both qualified professionals. One has a degree in education and the other in nursing science. Its love and care that makes the difference and not so much the money

My mother who was widowed took care basically for 3 hours a day with regards to their basic needs when they were home from school . The nurturing predominantly was done by me
