Most mothers who work outside the home end up getting a couple bucks an hour at best after paying for childcare and extra expenses When your kids grow up, ladies, they will do the math and realize that you abandoned them for about the price of an iced latte. Good luck.

Look, we get that it's important for families to have someone working with children and the home, but do you have to be so sexist and gender-role-enforcing about this? It's the 21st century after all.

Women can express milk and refrigerate at work. Some dads even use formula once in a while (gasp). Kids past age of 3 or so typically don't need breastfeeding anyway. People are more creative than you seem to know. Boobs shouldn't force women to be the homemaker.

Actually yes, not as well as women, but men are capable of producing milk nontheless. Of course, breast pumps and women are now capable of storing their breast milk.

Stephan..you are ranting now.The first few years..if a woman is so inclined.. A lot of dad's are gifted stay at home parents..and many women are better earners .. Wonderful for children if a parent can stay home but economics have shifted dramatically..most have no options.

Actually yes, little known fact there are a few men who have (biological men, with male plumbing) is rare but in certain cultures if there was no woman to breastfeed an orphaned baby the father would try along with taking certain herbs. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't.

But I do agree with you, which is why I'm a SAHM and I homeschool.
