Good Lord, you have the reading comprehension of a soapdish. I specifically wrote: if a village can only afford one doctor. If it’s a town, which only can afford five doctors, exactly the same equation applies.

What if it’s a city that can afford dozens? The idea that women were not actively kept out of professional fields is ludicrous. Further, Pickle, you say they weren’t, then you say they were, but give a “justification”.
