Given the conditions of the work, empathy required, and huge responsibility. One could just as easily surmise that the people who want that job most definitely are the best for it.

Wealth, intelligence and value to society are completely different characteristics that a person can have which have 0 correlation.

If the baby needs changing once an hour you need to start feeding it less.

I was totally blown away and caught off guard when I saw my infant baby interacting with her peers at her daycare. Seeing her develop social skills at such an early age (3 months) was unexpected but also immediately and obviously vital.
-
What about a true-pair-bond with you and its mother
-
I was certainly concerned, but I really was struck the first time I saw her interacting with another 3 month old in a way completely different from her mother or I that I realized there’s more to her development than constant parental interaction.

What shitty day care centre do u send ur kids to? That’s not how they work. They also wash their hands? Day care workers never have more than 3 babies each, its a legal requirement. You have NO idea what you’re talking about.. AGAIN! Who the fuck even are you?

Cos he has an army of followers who don’t seem to question his so-called wisdom. I feel it is my duty to stop this spreading of spurious bullshit before it does damage.

Ummm... no it doesn’t. A child goes through approximately 4-5 diapers a day. During the time they’re at daycare that’s only about 2-3. A child does not poop every time they need changed. Daycare workers wash their hands. For infants there must be one worker per 2 kids.
-
So that adds up to 4-6 diapers per worker per day in a 10 hour time frame. Also, how would that be different if it was a mom instead of a daycare worker? I think (most) moms should stay home, but your reasoning just completely lacks any semblance of illogic
