You can learn “socializing” in prison too. How many times as an adult do you find yourself dumped in an unfamiliar environment with strange people and no control over your situation?https://twitter.com/JedaiiMindTrick/status/1075394345090600960 …

This is apples to oranges. Daycare is great for small children in limited amounts. Social interactions help build strong character. Adults need to remember adulting is different than parenting.

You weren't dumped into your job, you chose it and you can leave it and choose another if the environment or the people are not ideal, or even abusive. Infants, toddlers and children are at the mercy of those around them. Ridiculous.

At the age of “the absorbent mind,” it is the role of parents to provide a safe, healthy environment for their children. Dumping them in a group of strangers, whom you know nothing about, is exposing them to the mental and emotional realities of those strangers. PARENT, or don’t!

Socializing can be done by parents meeting with other parents, and letting the kids interact. This way, a parent is able to instruct when behavior goes awry, not a stranger who may not share your values. It's cheaper than daycare, too.

On a larger timescale, it's recent that we had this "luxury" of daycare. For 100,000 years the baby was for the most part, with its mother. There are these superficial things the baby sense with its parent(s). This naturally may have an effect on the baby. Genes recognise genes.

Let’s compare grade school kids that attended daycare (obviously vetted responsible daycares, not a pedo in a dumpster) versus grace school kids that transition from home to school. Huge difference in social interaction and learning ability.

Completely different things. Children of daycare age are way less socially self-conscious than adults. An adult in that situation would be anxious. A baby just doesn't have that level of awareness. They get used to it pretty quickly.

Quick test that scares me and speaks for itself, draw a pie chart and fill it with slices of time your child spends his/her time doing, School..childminder..etc and time spent with you. take out sleep and an afternoon at Nan's house and your childs a stranger. whats life about.

What kind of argument is this? You honestly don’t think kids need any kind of socialization with kids their own age? That explains why you have no sense of how to interact appropriately
