Haha, allow me to be the exception to the rule. I find the subject of past lives facisnating, but this life is the one of importance. However, I am also one of the few that believes my reality is my responsibility and a direct result of my choices.

I’ve noticed a pattern of my leftist friends claiming to be “old souls” while I am a “young soul” and those people now having useless degrees and jobs that don’t require degrees to begin with.

reminds me of another truism, Nihilists rarely live the types of lives that one would miss once they're gone.

Many people into many things don't have much of a present life I'm afraid. It's too easy to get caught up in the future they forget the now.

Past unlocks the present! :)

I've also noticed that people "into" past lives always seem to believe they were some kind of Nobility or Royalty.
