My wife didn't work until our sons were in their teens. Didn't want anyone else raising them. I worked up to 80 hours a month overtime and sometimes 2 jobs. Why? I love my family, and wanted my wife and children to form deep and profound relationships. My boys shine as a result.

We did the same. Both children grown college graduates and successful adults. Parents need to raise their children not have them and dump them off.
