If being sexually abused makes breastfeeding (which is natural) hard to do, see a psych. Also, don’t have children until therapy complete.
Absolutely - breastfeeding is essential for healthy development, losing pregnancy weight and bonding (although I know it can be really tough). Also breast milk calibrates itself to male or female babies - amazing! Don’t get that from bottles. 18 months is recommended I believe.

My wife still breastfeed my daughter(she is 1 y/o and 1/2). My kid never caught a cold. We also feel that she is very confident in her actions and as smart as a healthy kid in her age should be. My wife also lost nearly 40 lbs after the delivery.

My wife and I are expecting and we had an extensive conversation regarding this. It ended with me being envious that I would never be able to connect with our child in that manner. Its such a wonderful thing and the benefits are well worth it.
