Fine if ya feel that having kids interferes with your “lifestyle” (though people who use that word rarely have either a life or style) - but you rely on everyone else’s kids growing up and taking care of your wrinkled ass in your dotage. Good thing we’re not all like you eh?

More disturbing it's being taught it's virtuous to not have children. I had a friend tell me he could light a gallon of gas on fire everyday and not do the environmental damage my children will. They can reclassify selfish behavior as virtue using their NPC programming.

I waited until later in life to start (38 now) but we plan to have as many as possible. We are at week 17, and just had a scare, but came out of it in great shape. To preserve the greatness of the west people must rediscover the value of family.

I’m curious as to why you push for others to have more children and for women to forgo careers to be homemakers, when you have only one child, you talk about hopes for her career prospects, & you’re married to a woman in a high profession? Am I mis-perceiving something?

Because we need more children demographically and the children need their mothers at home to raise and educate them

Lol... Less assholey childless people do exist tho! I decided not to have kids which is why I also decided to make sure I will have enough to take care of myself or simply pay someone who is a professional carer so I don't rely on amyone else's children... quite logical tbh

I knew since the age of eight that I didn’t want to have kids. I am very happy that it just worked out that way...no regrets. I prefer my pets.

What about people who can't have kids? How can they deal with the inevitable loneliness of the old age? Any words of comfort you could offer them?

We don't all want to be like you my confirmation bias friend. You and your kid that is. You wanted to have kids to give your life some meaning. Fine. Not all of us find meaning in the same way, nor should you expect people to. Most will want to have kids, but not all.

Don't forget Stefan in earlier centuries men and women went into monasteries and nunneries to get away from the demands of sex and reproduction and live a life of devotion. We are not all cut out to be breeders.
