They do enjoy being 'pursued' and pretending to be 'hard to get'. Maybe it all goes back to the dominant alpha male taking all that he wants, as a signal of being a good provider to the family? Humans really are just animals after all.

That is the subject where ppl show the most ignorance. Today, "50 Shades of Grey" is babbling, "S&M is fun bc it proves you trust me." 30 yrs ago, those old Phil Donahue shows babbled the same thing.

I remember watching a doco that showed that the people who make that kind of thing are also majority women.

It's not self hate, it's pleasure from risk. It's the same reason why people do dangerous stunts or watch horror movies.

Porn is selfhate in all cases. That snow is whiter than milk does not change the favt that they are both white.
