Honestly? I'd take 'weird obsession' as a good indication. All the greatest contributors I can think of were obsessed and at least half of them were weird. Might as well just say you're committed and anomalous. Which is true of anyone ahead of the curve and trying to progress it.

It is weird, dude. It's like trying find one number that gives an accurate estimation of someone's athletic ability; not only is it going to leave so many gaps as to be worthless, but the application of such a number will be so limited it's not worth measuring.

Stefan and Lauren constantly seek 'legitimacy' and 'favour' over the actions and contributions of 'whites' towards the formation of modern society...this is one of the reasons why many of them display that feeling of inherent 'superiority' (either subtley or more overtly)
