I’m going to assume that when they say “Muslim-focused” they don’t mean they’ll be telling couples to abandon an ideology that encourages domestic violence.
Does this mean they will turn away non-Muslims? If so, does that mean that other shelters can turn away Muslims? I’m confused, but I’m sure there’s a very clear answer. Depends. If they specialize in helping Muslim women dealing with domestic abuse (which is staggeringly high in that culture) but don't turn away anybody then no problem.
