Besides they really only have one major beef... and that is the race/iq stuff. Which is most people’s problem with Stefan... it seems anyway.
Sam Harris is far too intelligent to shoot a messenger who is interviewing experts and reporting scientific facts, it must be something else, not sure what.

Sam isn't one to deny genetics of IQ etc. differences between ethnic groups & sexes nor against immigrant profiling. Sam isn't against hawkish criticism of ideas. The key is: Sam needs to figure out Stefan's motifs. To make sure there's no bigotry, racism etc. underlying them.

The irony is that his only beef with Stefan is for the exact same thing that he was attacked for doing--interviewing an expert about a certain topic (same one BTW). Things that make ya go Hmm.

Sam is a genius, but much like Ben and other IDW guys, I've seen him in situations where he is just as prone to ideological tactics of shutting down ideas that oppose his personal worldview. I'm not sure his rationality necessarily outweighs his desire to be accepted.

Unfortunately it seems Sam is talking from a belief in his own personal ideology, rather than a deep understanding of history. I agree: Sam is a very intelligent man. But that doesn't mean I always agree with his views.

I was such a hyper lefty, globalist then. Thanks for posting this, it does seem like this is at the heart of why they hate Stefan and claim he has an agenda. It's okay for them to talk about IQ, but not Molyneux... It's okay for them to be quiet about the European crisis...
