Let’s face it, intelligence is the difference that provides humans with our unique capacities for survival in this universe. We need to understand what it is and how to engineer it. Of course, this is well under way. Who disputes this?

Almost everybody. The common perception is that education is the key and that you can fix IQ with education. The theory being that everybody is equal except for opportunity and education.

Like many a religious belief, people may purport that education is the critical factor without really believing it in practice since anybody that has attempted education recognizes clearly the differences berween individuals in obtaining it.

In their public declarations, people like to say that education is the critical factor but in private anybody who relies on an education to accomplish their work admires and pays tribute to the unequally distributed talent associated with sheer mental horsepower.
