Denying racial IQ differences does NOT solve the problem of racism - it justifies and empowers racism. Why? Because all disparities in racial outcomes end up being blamed on “white racism.” Attacking all whites for biological realities beyond their control is horribly racist.

So 80% genetic and 20% environmental. That's your assessment.
-
That is not “my assessment.” I guess you don’t have any idea how science works, so I’m tapping out.
-
So where is the science that says IQ is 80% genetic? You are the one throwing around "scientific" claims with absolutely no backing.

Height, skin color, eye color, hair color, diseases, all genetic. IQ though, that's impossible!

How did you manage to only name diseases that are, in fact, at least partially genetic. It's pretty apparent you didn't inheret much by means of IQ, friend!

Where did he get his "about" data? Is there a study I can read?

So why are there 20% remaining? Can one improve one‘s IQ through learning, nutrition, anything? Or is it that one can only decrease one‘s IQ via malnutrition, alcohol, etc.?
-
In statistics you use linear regression to determine how much variation an explanatory variable accounts for. So if you take twins and separate them at birth measure their IQs at various stages in comparison to siblings in the same environment. You will find that by the late....
-
... teens you will find that the 20% of the variation of the twins IQ is accounted for by the environment. While 80% of the variation exists only between the siblings and the twin in the same environment rather than just the twins. Tight

80% genetic comes with caveats. But even if we take that figure it has nothing to do with group differences and everything to do with within group difference. Implying the former by not being clear with your language is dishonest. Sophistry at its finest.

Which still doesn't imply heritabilty... consistent differences aren't a problem especially when we see the consistent major environmental differences still occur

Ok that etc needs to cover a hell of a lot. Link me the studies that control for nutrition, prenatal env, breastfeeding rates, SES, neighbourhood , spanking rates and infant blood lead levels to name but a few. Also tell me how stereotype threat and cultural influences are negated
