I'm far from the SJW crowd, but statistics showing racial difference are not proof that race isn't socially constructed. You could draw boundaries of race randomly and wind up with skews among the many ailments. Statistically speaking, the argument would need to go deeper.

Aside from that, proof (in cases like this) is usually definition chasing. But the world would have to agree on definitions before that would really be possible, or you would want to point to your oppositions definition and fulfill it when making your own argument.

However, there is politics surrounding the word "race" and almost nobody gets it correct. Both the right and the left never seemed to have the discussion long enough. What *is* easy to define and degree upon is the meaning of genetic lineage...

It is noteworthy that the Ashkenazi Jewish IQ advantage is showing partial collapse. Why? Does it relate to the American lifestyle? Did it exist for specific reasons in the first place...possibly aside from "position on the graph" of human lineage? We do not know!

Cancer, diabetes, heart disease can be lifestyle driven vs. ethnicity driven. Intermarriage within a population cohort can exacerbate genetic illnesses. In the end we are all human beings.

Stefan... dude, it's not a social construct, and if people think it means nothing I agree with you. Still, race is a slightly manmade categorization of common features. Of course there will be genes more prevalent in certain groups from certain parts of the world... nothing new.

Okay, the word "manmade" was probably not the right terminology. I meant: a categorization that is oversimplified with a word "race" as if it's as objective as blood type.
