I always ask my fellow marines to consider being organ donors. A lot of my marines are African-American and all of them are organ donors.

No it’s listed on they’re drivers license/state ID. I’ve spoken to a lot of my buddies about becoming living donors once we EAS. It’s difficult to register as a living donor when you’re active duty. I’m definitely going to register as a living donor when I get out.

Solution is to legalize financial compensation to donor.
-
I would argue that it's unethical to NOT financially compensate the donor. This goes for blood as well! Hospitals sell donated blood for hundreds of dollars per pint. Tens of thousands for an organ.
-
I also say that it's unethical to specifically deny the donor or the donor's estate financial compensation. Maybe the rules should also require the doctor to perform the surgery sans compensation. . . see how that goes.

I found the article that this article butchered. It cites environmental, pharmaceutical, and pathological risks in addition to genetic risk.https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3761401/ …
-
It should also be noted that genotypic variation is a product of region and persistent environmental pressure. Race is just cherry-picking aspects of biology to confirm preconceived biases.

Genetic diversity in Africa is greater than the rest of the world. Rest of the world comes from a couple small migration groups from the African continent. It’s one of the scientific proofs for Africa being the origin of man. So not surprising.
-
That's not set in stone, some discoveries in China, Bulgaria, Israel and migration patterns are mudding the OoA and RSOH modelshttp://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2017/05/22/europe-birthplace-mankind-not-africa-scientists-find/ …
-
Interesting findings. Though the generic diversity is still true.https://blogs.bcm.edu/2018/07/19/genetic-diversity-in-africa-is-greater-than-in-any-other-region-in-the-world/ …

Genetic not generic.
