I have seen tracking studies that report that average IQ is falling in most western nations over decades. I wonder if there is a causal relation to the rise of collectivism over the same time frame. I personally believe it requires some intelligence to grasp individualism.
Mass immigration from the third world has a lot to do with falling Western IQ. The key to the studies is to check whether they normalize IQ tests by race. if they don’t, they are worse than useless.

Perhaps. But this trend is many decades long. I don't profess to know the answers. If mass immigration were halted today, I don't believe the trend would be reversed. If intellect is required to avert collectivism, we are not working the problem correctly.

The only thing I can say is it shouldn't, in that the quality of education shouldn't change based on who you're teaching, but I get it. Averages can skew perceived reality and make true what shouldn't be through blind mis-application of data.

Charles Murray himself on your very show said that the difference within groups has a much wider variance than the difference between groups. Therefore a mono-racial society will not give you the smartest society. The best option is a meritocratic approach to immigration.

I don't think a countries government should care about brain drain in other countries. Your government works for you, you pay their wages, not people in other countries. It's their job to make the country they govern better, and to do that they need to get the smartest people.
