My ancestors were driven out of Africa and struggled to survive winter and hunger. Over thousands of years, they became smarter and wiser through suffering. They made the modern world. Now the Africans say we are “privileged” & thieves. No - suffering made us. No more guilt.

Your ancestors were "resourceful" and adapted based on environmental conditions, that does not make a group of people smarter, let alone "wiser". Later your ancestors also robbed from indigenous people all over. Suffering made many of you sociopaths.

Yes, I remember how my European ancestors stole trains and internal combustion engines and modern medicine and property rights and limited government and equality under the law from all those wonderful Third World countries that had them long before Europeans came along...

Infantile statement- Flip a couple of pages back and stop the hyper-reductionist fallacies. 1492, 1519, Europeans stole gold and and peoples health, erased entire populations.

Yeah and the indigenous Americans gave the Europeans syphilis and smoking, lots of inadvertent tragedies throughout history, what’s your point?

Syphilis origin, not yet proven. Europeans may have had carried it first. My point: what you call your "great" culture is in its way out, and neither you or me will be able to witness that. You keep holding on to it. I'll keep promoting changing it. Simple.

According to Guns, Germs and Steel, certain regions failed to develop due to lack of natural resources. Developed nations then stole those natural resources. How can both be true?

Our ancestors were resourceful sure, we had need and followed through, sure we arrived and introduced another element to the indiginous peoples and their incessant tribal wars, we won, why? Cause we were smarter and wiser from our struggles.

His argument is "my ancestors got wiser and resourceful through suffering and invented many things. Other people's ancestors suffered, but did did not thrive, therefore, my ancestors were better and I'm better". Wish you'd stop hiding behind walls of text and say what you mean.

Plenty of non-western cultures had egalitarian limited governance. Love, someone who’s read lots of anthropology + history. PS it remains to be seen whether the technology that marks our superiority for u can be sustained, but not whether all the extinct species will return.
