Telling the truth these days is like touching the third rail. That could be a good name for a cub for truth-tellers. The

His understanding of the monetary system is pathetic as he advocates for central banking which is the main cause of the wars he protests so much.
-
We don't have to like everything someone believes in order to like something they've said or done. I don't agree with most of Chomsky's beliefs but that's OK. I can still appreciate other things he has stated. (He'd change his mind about banks if he learned about cryptocurrency.
-
Fair enough but it's not hard to understand banking/money. Ultimately he is an authoritarian with the hubris to believe that central planning of the money supply is necessary as individuals can't be trusted to act in a way that will generate the best societal outcomes. Not cool.

Take
#TheHitch for example. I love just about everything I've learned about him except for his long fascination with Marxism which is a biggie for me. Still, he shines so brightly elsewhere that I can (almost) overlook this dark and murky bit of thinking. -

That's a valid distinction to be made. For example, some brutal despots might have been brilliant in one area of intellect but their nefarious and murderous actions should disqualify them from any serious consideration.

I read his
@PenguinUKBooks "Anarchy" book. It was a dreadful, droning gossipy drawl. It was like you had to know someone from a Spanish anarchist commune to give a damn what he was going on about. Not a scratch on your books.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

But Noam Chomsky doesn’t tell the truth.

-
Exactly what I was about to say. I guess it's probably a fairly common opinion about Chomsky.
-
I guess this is just another part of
@StefanMolyneux’s slide into unabashed full-blown collectivism. - 1 more reply

Now if you could get people to agree on what is truth, we could get somewhere!

Chomsky is a leading ruiner of K-12 education. If you like evidence he ain't your guy.
