The Left: Anyone skeptical of the ability of scientists to predict the weather 100 years from now is a science denier! Also the Left: Anyone who accepts over 100 years of rigorous international testing that clearly shows IQ differences between races is eeevil! Pick a lane pls.

sigh... great, even Stephan’s gradually moved into white supremacy territory. Sad, when you’ve had so much to offer. It’s getting harder and harder to identify “libertarian” to others since Spencer, Milo, Alex, and lately, you, have taken up these “ideas”

The right: denies the science behind climate change. Accepts the science that says white men have higher IQ. Pick a lane.

The difference is that the climate prediction project is the most complex scientific endeavour humans have ever undertaken. It has so many variables attached to it, and therefore more uncertainty.

Weather and climate are two different things. But what do I know? I’m only a brown.

IQ isn’t even a real thing. Wow. So much work poured into your books and podcasts and not once have you stopped and questioned the validity of some random system used to quantify something that people aren’t even sure is real in the way we think it is. What a lunatic.

IQ is in fact highly predictive of a wide variety of life outcomes

At the extremes I absolutely agree, like super low IQ people are going to likely be unsuccessful, while high IQ people are likely to be successful. However in the mid range I doubt the reliability of the predictions based on IQ. Overall your on the mark though.

Those mid range people are likely to be more successful than those with lower IQs and less successful than those that have higher.

It’s interesting how people automatically associate IQ with success. There are so many variables with regards to success. You could be absolutely brilliant, but have no ambition. You could also be dumb as f__k, but have an insane amount of drive.I would love to read a study on this

IQ is the most deciding factor. Obviously there are other factors, the second most determining factor is conscientiousness (what you call drive). Since IQ is the most deciding factor it is not interesting whatsoever why people would associate it with success.
