Never liked Rothbard's "Oh well, if a stateless society fails, we'll just be back where we started" No, many people will have died. There are consequences to promoting irresponsible ideologies.
You mean like the 250 million people murdered by their own governments - outside of war - in the 20th century alone?

Appreciate the comment. Big fan. It's more complicated than state/no state. I don't deny that states have committed the largest atrocities, but it's best to tread carefully when suggesting that the institution should be completely abandoned.
