The difference is these social media companies are private companies and can associate with who ever they want, while these bakeries are.. Uhh... Hmm...

Meanwhile tech companies have most likely received federal funding and grants, whereas a local bakery has not.

That is because the left’s ethics are purely situational. Consistency is not the goal. Dominance is.

It sounds like you're referring to people getting banned from platforms for their misuse of those platforms or violation of their codes of conduct. Maybe you can elaborate on what you mean by banned at will.
-
That's just it, though. The code of conduct is not only unclear, but applied in ways that are hardly consistent. I've seen people make death threats and not be banned, or say racist things, and nothing much happens. Others use a swear word and get suspended.
-
That can be true too. I see a lot of ppl using slurs, cyberbullying, etc. Most of the time there are a lot of us reporting but they rarely face consequences.
-
I suspect Twitter often ignores the lower priority issues or puts them off but really they prob need a better automatic system and/or more staff working on these things

For social media though, if they keep banning conservatives, they'll eventually be classified as a publisher, instead of a platform, which makes them vulnerable to libel laws.

Freedom of association and private property are both inalienable rights. We have chosen to abridge both to effect civil rights. We could have chosen other means. The recent incident at Starbucks shows how effective other means can be. But the left seeks power above all things

Said literally nobody on the left, ever. Nobody should be allowed to prevent anyone else from partaking in our economy, because people should have the freedom to shop without being shunned. And the social media platforms banning people are just employing their free market ideals.
-
If you don't like companies having the free will to ban who they want, maybe we should work on regulating them. Also, maybe you're not REALLY a free market advocate. Regulation can be important, so that the maximum number of people can be free to live, not helping corporations.

Care to elaborate? What was half true? Also facts are not low. They are, indeed, facts.

Democrats are Corporatists, just like the Republicans are. I'm personally in favor of all people being able to be a part of the economy, nomatter their gender, religion, skin color, sexuality, etc. I also believe the only way to do so is with regulations.
