Yeah, loved the Holocaust Jewish star on her coat thought that was a perfectly acceptable & appropriate symbol to cement her 1st world struggles

-
Jews everywhere are thankful that Loomer has equated
@twitter 's ban on her for hurling unfounded, racist accusations, to the holocaust. Auschwitz survivors in particular recognize the struggle she went through for +/- 3 hours as she braved the perils of downtown Manhattan. - 1 more reply

I’ll be reasonable. If I used the “C” word on this platform I’d get a seven day suspension if I’m reported by some and for the specific reasons. I saw her tweets - the others ones that earned her a ban from Uber and Lyft. She violated the rules. Also, Laura got a lot of attention
-
today - but there are people out there that don’t get a fraction of it whose rights are violated. She’s home now somewhere warm. She was never trapped. She still has her right to speak. Just not on Twitter for breaking rules.
-
By that logic Acosta should have stayed banned by Trump, which I wholeheartedly disagree with. We need to take our freedom of speech seriously, I get Twitter has its own rules, but people cheering censorship is not the answer.
-
We're cheering the enforcement that protects us from hate speech. She clearly found a way to be heard, so her free speech still exists.
-
Believe me I get it, but when we as a people pick and choose who can speak no matter what platform we're treading a dangerous line. Trump is already talking about a state run media other than fox. Sometimes we may not like what people say, but at least you know where they stand.
-
I also get it, that's why I say the government shouldn't try to shutdown Fox anymore than CNN. But tgere does need to be lines not crossed. Can't yell fire in a theater, etc. This extends to hate speech on social media. If they don't adhere to the rules, they don't get to ride.
-
Disagree, news organizations used to be held accountable for telling lies.
-
They need to be sued and financially punished...but the government can't be seen shutting them down. Accountability isn't control.

Courageous? Ah yes, the dangers posed by a common door are real. Or are you talking about her having to pee and not having the key to uncuff herself. However did she muster the courage.

-
She was so distraught i understand she refused pizza even.

How about being courageous and leaving Twitter or Facebook for an alternative. You haven't called for that yet oh, I forgot....nevermind.
-
I choose to stay because Twitter needs to live up to the promise it made us, to provide an uncensored forum for free exchange of ideas. If we allow Jack & his agenda-driven tools to drive us out, everybody loses.

No, if you leave to settle for another site, both it and Twitter become narrowly homogeneous echo chambers, and true dialog fails. This simply reinforces bigotry on all sides.
