That alongside the left seem unable to distinguish between appropriately selected economic migrant, unsuitable and unvetted migrant and then finally genuine refugee (which is rare because they should go to nearest safe haven). Most fall into Cat.2 which is part of the problems
I’d have at least a little respect for advocates of mass migration if they specified what other government programs must be cut to pay for their mad plans. Failing that, it’s just an act of economic warfare designed to destroy the economies of the West.

Military, easy. We could literally fund healthcare, education, and easily fund immigration proceedings while still having far and away the largest military. I find it really weird that you supposed capitalists and libertarians don't think freedom of movement is valuable.

Ah, see the problem is that common sense is no longer common. I think it was Gavin McInnes who was asking people how many we should take in and they said as many as 10 billion. So yeah, more than the entire population of the world. Government education is awesome!

For many countries this is true, but for the USA it has filtered immigration to requiring education levels from Bachelor and Master degrees in fields that is demanded by employers.
