We need to privatize the air, the government has no right regulating what can be properly owned by private interests. -Albert Fairfax II

"Oh but it won't affect poor people because we'll give them carbon tax credits." Uh, half the country doesn't pay tax, but EVERYONE pays for bread and milk and eggs - all of which will weirdly have their prices increase substantially because guess what? Companies pass on all tax

They have to fix the price of oil and so they use emissions as an excuse to Control how much gets drilled each year to prevent over drilling which would be disastrous, so they tell a lie to serve a bigger truth.

"over drilling" makes about as much sense as "over production." These are "problems" because too much prosperity leads to financial independence and govts need people to be dependent.

Taxing carbon is like taxing sunlight. It has no impact on levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, but allows governments to more heavily tax vital industries and activities people can't stop doing, thus spreading misery and unemployment, and making industry less competitive.

Carbon... that common term for the stuff that makes plants grow. I say burn more coal and oil... for the health of the plants.

Can’t we get them to call it a “breathing tax” using truth-in-advertising laws?
