Every law is a potential death penalty, since the State escalates force until compliance or death. An excess of laws is a license for tyranny.

True that!! The fundamental principles of the American constitutional Republic and the freedoms it was to protect and preserve, was based on limited government via the ability of the people to govern themselves....

He says "we are left with attempting to choose the best of two bad options and making a pragmatic case for which option is the lesser of two evils." The problem is no one should be in the position to make that choice at all. Let order emerge voluntarily without force.

Politics is downstream from culture which is downstream from religion. You’ll always see a proliferation of laws & their explicitness when there is a decline in morals & true religion in the hoi polloi. An excess of laws is a mirror/symptom of, not a license for, tyranny & decay

Culture comes from a people’s answers to the great philosophical questions humans have always asked. They are answered by religions & pseudo religions (correctly by Traditional Catholicism ;). Race is merely a set of biological traits; useful for demographers not philosophers.

Yes I do ;) You are the one who believes something as contrary to common sense & experience as: ‘culture is downstream from race.’

We can certainly make a disordered mess of them through sin, but we humans are all given the gifts of intellect & free will from God.
