I gladly exchange greater compensation for the invaluable time raising and teaching my 4 children. And I am eternally grateful for a husband who also values me home, investing in our children. My treasure is where my heart is.

Having children is better than winning the lottery. And I'm speaking as a woman who thought she didn't want children.
-
It is really hard to explain how it changes you, isn’t it? It stunned me.
-
It's an actual miracle. I don't even like children!

the career path sans children, start out as a fresh young thing, end up as the cranky bitch with the longest philodendron in the company, bosses loving her in youth have long gone-fresh faces want fresh faces-packs plant in box goes home to cat

Maybe if men were not demonized (muh patriarchy) the family unit would be more sacrosanct. Radical women only have themselves to blame for men fleeing the idea of family. Somehow men lose no matter what anymore. I hope these radical women can build cities and societies in general
-
If a species does not breed and move it’s genetic materials forward it becomes extinct. Marxist ideology is so self centered in its demands for instant gratification & lust for dominance & power in the Now that it forgets human biological nature. That’s why it fails on all levels
-
Truer words never spoken. When all is said and done, society itself will determine our ability to survive. Science will eventually prove whether or not a species is terminable based on availability of chromosones needed to survive and if it is attainable.

It’s pretty cheap to measure value of a life on income alone.

Presumably
@TheEconomist would prefer some Brave New World where children are born in test tubes and raised in baby farms. How about the 'death in life' tax, where mostly men have to fritter their life away doing jobs they hate, to pay for the family at home? Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. Wow... that never occurred to me.... My wife is a stay at home mom raising our 3 kids (wonderfully I might add) and does all our family shopping and gets a bigger personal allowance than I give myself... so technically who earns more money...

Biased analysis, having kids actually improves mom’s long term productivity and mental health.

Regarding your recent comment about the last 3rd of life and increasing death. Who enjoys the middle 3rd of life better? Single people or family people?
