You could approximate the sensation by sleeping beneath a pile of clean-but-not-yet-folded laundry, or the collection of Beanie Babies you thought you’d sell on eBay one day. You could even stack up a pile of regular, non-gravity blankets and lie beneath that, a “bed lasagna.”

What is the point of this blanket?

How do you wash it? I mean, your washing machine would go all over the place wouldn't it?

They are the best thing for stress. I tried one from a friend and really liked it. I just can’t afford one.

So did I. However I ordered 20lb but found I need 15lb.

I like air circulation when I sleep, so the concept isn't appealing to me. Since you need to buy one to try it, I'll never know.....unless someone lends me one. But I did like my silk filled comforter, it was thin, light and cool in summer (also did not shift/bunch unlike down).

My dogs and my cat sleep on top of me, much cheaper.
