That is true but such things as honor and justice are not currency in geopolitics. People often forget that when they argue about Yalta and the tragic outcome of WWII for Poland.
But do never neglect/underestimate the influence of the Roman Catholic Church in the process.
Amen. For most of my adult life I thought I was atheist. Couple year ago I started reading about Christian philosophy, and realized, I was always Catholic. Thanks to being raised in Poland
Do you know Yuri Bezmenov? If so, what do you think about his words on cultural diversion in western societies?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gnpCqsXE8g …
In an odd way the iron curtain protected them from the Marxists in the west.
No, Marxism left with the Russian tanks. It is patriotic to be Anti Marxist there.
You missed his point. Countries that were behind the Iron Curtain under Soviet slavery were isolated & never targeted for cultural marxist subversion. They were able to recover from communism after the Cold War & they rightly saw post-60s Western "values" as a threat.pic.twitter.com/1JpNNqqgqT
I am from Slovenia. Guess we had both. Will think about it.
Blame it on geography.
Doesn't have to be this way. The future polish elites should just learn about geopolitics - a science which has been banned by the Soviets after WWII.
Once bitten, twice shy.
While my professor in Sofia was calling these people "mystic communism" we exported Julia Krusteva to France where she became an important voice for feminism and modernists while simultaneously being....an agent of Bulgarian secret service. Really makes you think, doesn't it?
