This demonstrates the necessity of a mixed government called a republic, combining features of autocracy (the Presidency or similar executive power), oligarchy (Senate/House of Lords/& independent judiciary), and democracy (House of Representatives/Commons.)
Lord it must be tough to be a politician, leaning over the squirming nest of democracy, with all the squawking birds demanding free stuff... just about anyone who tries to drop truth instead of debt gets eaten alive.
