When you think about it, the Electoral College is designed to preserve a diversity of opinion in a given election. And since the Left really hates diversity of opinion (preferring majority opinion) it makes sense why they'd want to abolish it.

They are focused on diversity of culture versus diversity of ideas. We have a culture. We don't need to have it diluted by others via population invasion. But ideas are always welcome.

Let's also bear in mind that if racial diversity didn't exist, the left would INVENT a new form of diversity to bait one group against another. And yes, if all else fails #Feminism is always there to fall back on. The left cannot survive without divide-and-conquer.
