Our collective unwillingness to address I.Q. and Race here in the west is an issue which resides at the very core of the ongoing fragmentation of first world society.

Source please. As you know, correlation is not causation, it could also be that lower IQ people tend to be poor, and therefore both poverty and lower IQs are associated with the next generation.

Look up how epigenetics plays a role. Constant stress (being poor) can cause genes (via hormones) to turn on and off causing various effects.

Poverty is very likely the cause of poor prenatal development, malnutrition & disease which can all have deleterious effects on IQ. Even if IQ is 86% genetic these environmental factors must play a role in low average IQ & If addressed surely average IQs for Black's increases.

Correct but hypocritical, aren’t you the one asserting that the correlation between IQ and races is enough to conclude that the genetics determining race is a profound determinant of IQ? By your own reasoning, you too are ignoring many potential factors.
