When society is dangerous, everyone has problems. When society gets safer, smart people start solving more complex problems like philosophy and computers. Fools start inventing problems like ‘intersectionality’ and ‘privilege.’ Don’t be a fool. Join us. Work on what matters.

I don't think that is what I wrote. Do you mean "complex problems" are consumer goods?
-
Technological progress is overwhelmingly greater during peacetime.
-
A statement that cannot be proven for the simple reason that it is false. The writer may be confused with the perception that he is living in a time of peace.
-
Most of the areas of the world where technological innovation is happening are experiencing peace by any reasonable historical standard.
-
Peace you experience is because of threat of war. In this sense "peace" has a heterological meaning. Peace is the period historically when people prepared for war. In reality, there is no peace, it is only an illusion.
-
That I agree with. The market happens in a state of constant tension against would-be local thievery and would-be external plunderers (armies).
-
I mean if you think about it, peace in our times comes at terminal risk of nuclear annihilation. Quite oxymoron schema. Anyway, thanks for civilized conversation. That's all what matters. :)
