I don't get it, why would Jewish @BretWeinstein and philosemite @jordanbpeterson oppose a majority Catholic judiciary? What did the "intellectual dark net" mean by this?

And I’m sure if Dr. Weinstein has admitted his privilege and participated in his own shaming he would have helped to heal the racial tensions on campus and in society.

Yeah Bret and Jordan Peterson have made weird choices; considering their supporters seem to support Brett Kavanaugh. Check out their threads and you can see people looking like...pic.twitter.com/I5AXbGCRiM
-
Don’t forget that both (especially Bret) are still far left themselves, the only difference is the mob tried to eat them, their ability to learn from that experience varies but didn’t suddenly turn them conservative, or even rise them above mob mentality.
-
True, unfortunately they still don't support Kavanaugh for his political leaning even though the mob came after them too. The disingenuousness of Weinstein and Peterson saying his resigning would help to mend divides is laughable though.
-
If we give them the benefit of the doubt then it’s incredibly naive.

Let me explain: All 8 Jewish senators voted against devout Christian,Brett Kavanaugh. The Senate is nothing to Jews but a vehicle to advance their own ethnic interests - a modern-day Sanhedrin, if you will. Nothing has changed since Christ was condemned to death 2,000 years ago.

I’ll sum up the Peterson’s / Weinstein paradox. A lobster is accused of not being a lobster by a psychologist therefore the lobster should voluntarily jump in a pot of boiling water so people can believe whatever a psychologist says.

Accuse Bret of sexual assault and you will quickly find he doesn't feel how he seems to feel in that tweet.

I am a big Jordan Peterson fan but he and Bret are waaaaayyyyyyy wrong here. Stepping down would fire up a completely defeated and deflated leftist base.

Although Finland isn't paradise, I must confess that the method of selecting supreme court judges in
#USA might just be the most idiotic way to choose anyone on this whole planet... Conservative or liberal judge?! Such question is mindless... -
I looooove Finland, however you can't compare a small, relatively closed and mono ethnic society like yours to the US....
-
You are almost right. But when selecting members of supreme court based on candidates presumed opinions, that just makes those judges extension of politics?! And this cannot make court very trusted?
-
By the way, how are they appointed in Finland?
-
Here politicians cannot participate in selection of judges, with such exception that The President of Republic must support candidate with his signature. Persons must have been supported and peer reviewed by colleagues; politics would stop nomination.
-
So they’re chosen by academics? And how does that guarantee politics are not involved?
-
You are right, our system quarantees nothing. Reality is that parlamentarians here have become stranger than ever during last 30 years. And legal system has turned into insider game.
-
Judges here are chosen by the President and then voted on by The Senate. All of which have been elected by the people. Judges being appointed by academics would be a nightmare to us. The people have no say in the matter.
