Yet another reason we are working to get both teachers and students out of government "education."

Amazing. The system is set up to oust the good teachers who actually want to push their students toward excellence. Tragic.

How long before we go to a no-grading policy? Just show up, listen to the propaganda, and collect your degree at the end. No feelings hurt and guaranteed equal outcomes.

Years ago my Mom took early retirement as she was being forced to change grades for students who had zeros across the board. No failing allowed.

The same thing happened to me as a high school teacher. I had to take an early retirement or lose my pension. I feel for this teacher and others that are submitted to this ludicrous demand.

In Canada we’ve been administering skill assessment testing to 3rd and 7th graders for decades. Recently those tests have become optional, and teachers are actively trying to abolish them. Our daughter’s teacher implored the parents to excuse their kids, only 6 took the test?!
