I saw that. I wholeheartedly agree. We can affect genetic predispositions, but not that much. I have two adopted children and they took a trajectory that mimics their birth parents.

It's kind of odd to believe a mindset is in direct competition with your genetic disposition, but it is likely true. I guess the question is to what extent can I positive mindset challenge genetics that put you at an academic disadvantage
