European/Asian cultures tend to be innovative (science and your standard liberal arts) in comparison to other various groups in the span of human history.
It's a real shame that we can never find out whether diversity could ever have worked, because endless leftist race-baiting has totally ruined the experiment.

Diversity is the only way we’ve come as far as we have in only a couple hundred years. I’m just glad that people like you are bringing this conversation into the open for us to realize the point of it all - cultural evolution, beyond the obstacles of close-minded bigotry & fear.
