The only power you have is to use a different platform. Advocating for any regulation over a private platform is the equivalent of hiring the govt to shoot up (or threaten to shoot up) their corporate headquarters. No different than actually doing it, just denial.

This falls apart with the tech companies because they are all Gov contractors. They are essentially Proto-Fascist entities, as they act as an extension of the state. Therefore, lobbying a change in their policy via state is not immoral.

And instead of advocating for the dissolution of those contracts, you want to advocate for more government power?

We've been arguing since the @Snowden drop for dissolution. That has gone no where. Now we have escalated beyond 4th violations to 1st and 14th, and you still feel the government will simply back out?

No. I left the country and live in the middle of the mexican jungle now, where almost no form of government exists. It fascinates me though, that almost every LINO arguing with me is doing so from a big government state like California and Vermont.

But keep feeding your masters more power. As a programmer, you work in one of the freest markets on the planet, but please, by all means, continuing to argue to destroy that one too.

Honestly.. why are we surprised? Until one of us creates a better product, we will keep using Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook. It’s like we are outraged that McDonald’s stop selling a product while we are eating happy meals in the McPlayPlace ball pit .
