We're living in a real-time radical experiment raising generations of children totally outside the previous experience of humans going back thousands of years. I doubt it goes well.

I hope you were able to play outside, if not, I feel sorry for your missed childhood. I am so thankful I was always outside.

Can you blame them though? I kid can’t even play outside with sticks without getting the police called on them. Parents won’t let children walk to the bus stop alone anymore nor should they. the urbanization of the country is getting more and more pronounced.

I habe two boys. Even at 12 and 14, they love being outside. They do like video games, too, but will spend more time outside. Plus, we limit screen time.

Can't blame single moms when celebrities are "joking" about raping them.

I used to spend my childhood in the garden collecting bees in an old jam jar. Thinking back always give me such pangs of nostalgia. Now, when I visit my mother during summer: there are very few bees on the plants and flowers, and almost almost no children happily playing outside.
