All remittances out of the country should be taxed at a flat rate of 10%. Why should we subsidize quantitative easing in other countries???

There should be a tax on all remittances to fund border protection and internal enforcement. Seems to be a much better method than simple appropriations from Congress.

A 5% wire transfer tax would net nearly $70 Billion just from this segment alone. Quite enough to fully fund a border wall, coast to coast.

Turn off all foreign aid.

If that number is accurate, this is a very big deal. That's $138 billion dollars not available for consumption or saving in the United States. Devastating. That economists haven't jumped all over the implications of this is beyond belief.

The US imposes a 30 percent withholding tax on interest dividends rents and royalties leaving the country (code sections 871 and 881). Why no withholding taxes on remittances?

Over 4 billion of it went to tiny Israel with interest & no strings attached, as usual. That was merely the direct aid.
