I'm sure this law only applies to us serfs as a practical matter. Our Lords and Ladies will be happy to pay their fines as I understand it to be a mere $1,000 per day. That's just crumbs to them, but for us serfs it's quite a lot. California: making new Trump voters daily.

I expect to see Nancy Pelosi bitching about how it's Trump's fault in the near future.

Peter Hitchens once said how disappointed he was to learn that members of Parliament weren't particularly bright. Seeing our elected leaders flailing, unable to even come up w/ a msg to run against POTUS makes me terrified that ppl like Pelosi wielded such power for so long.

I'm not a huge Trump fan. I do support him as he's the president, but would have liked to see a better option run in 2016. That the Dems ran Hillary, and the platform she ran on, was mind boggling. That they manipulated media coverage to run against Trump, even more so.

I understand the skepticism. I think it's healthy on your part. My view is that after 500 days he's proven far more effective than career politicians. If he succeeds in North Korea, that will grievously injure the political class' claim they should rule us.

Because they refuse to open up the irrigation system due to an endangered smelt that got into it or to implement water desalination plants in order to alleviate their ROUTINE droughts (which is WHY the irrigation system was built in the first place!). Self-created misery.

Best way to be water efficient is to charge ALL users a market rate. Agriculture uses 80% of the water in the state. Stop harassing individuals. Allow people to make informed choices with their own money. Stop growing rice (water rich crop) and sending to China!
-
Meat uses more water than anything else.
-
It’s true, and charging a market rate for water will help reduce meat consumption as well.
