It seems the Visa fraud detection AI didn't find a 70 y.o. retired stats prof in WI spending $2K on tickets to a rap concert in DE to be "unusual ". Perhaps a bit more training of the algorithm is in order.

I honestly don't understand why people find it acceptable to build workstations with 32+ GB of RAM... and don't use ECC they must hate accurate results and stable operation especially given that modern DRAM is already pushed well to, and sometimes past, its limit (rowhammer!)pic.twitter.com/M1RD67N3Gk

#JuliaCon2018 was a huge success. Also the largest#JuliaCon ever and the first time in Europe. It was great fun to see the usual faces, and so many new faces. Here's a wonderful group photo. It does not include Pontus, who took this wonderful picture.pic.twitter.com/5CPnNzhAR4

I am so glad I came to
@JuliaCon2018 this year. Met so many interesting, smart, hardworking people and heard fantastic talks! I met Tim Besard, who developed the GPU packages I use everyday. Witnessed version 1.0! and most importantly, I got autograph from Gilbert Strang!!!pic.twitter.com/U0Zxyzbr08
