I don't think it's a big deal. Steam Link is only $49 and you will still need a gamepad to use the tech with your new Samsung TV

I've heard Gaben talk about this even before Steam Machines got a name :D Apparently, Valve is doing something other than hats :)

I believe it's the other way around. Samsung went with them. I believe they will be happy with everyone else using their tech
