I did some filtering on numbers and removed the games that weren't discounted. The revenue from the sale is closer to $228M. It's not final.

Can you imagine that some people are actually buying new full-priced games during the sale! Outrageous! :)

Seems like removing an incentive to wait instead of buying (flash sales, daily deals) helped :)

@Steam_Spy two things: 1) removed incentiv to wait (flash sales) 2) added incentive to discover (cards for crawling disc. queue)

@larsiusprime @Steam_Spy Meh. Clicking through my queue is boring. Playing their sale games was fun and engaging. Guess I'm not typical.

@IVofRussia @larsiusprime the point of a sale is for you to buy stuff, not have fun clicking through it ;)

Average discount was lower this time: 50% vs 66%. It's great for developers - we're no longer racing to the bottom.

@Steam_Spy Any explanation for the huge increase in revenue versus modest increase in sales? Better strategy, or more "other" being sold?

@Steam_Spy Two quick questions: 1) Do you have a way to factor in regional pricing when calculating revenue?
