Switch is exactly where it needs to be. And the Lite is perfect for what it needed to be. I play Xbox and will be getting Series X. But it won't harm my Switch Lite at all.
I don't take the "What will Switch do vs. PS5/Xbox Series X" stuff seriously. Switch wasn't given much of a shot against PS4/X1 either, in fact, many predicted a failure worse than Wii U. Instead, Switch is on a 100m trajectory and 1st party software sales are breaking records.

Curious to see exactly what changes... But I wouldn't say Nintendo's going to suffer or anything. Just that the ecosystem is going to be interesting to watch and the switch is going to make the transition to new hardware different from what we've seen before in some form.

Folks were writing the Switch off as soon as they heard it used a Tegra graphics chip. I'm expecting to hear the calls of "it's been replaced" within seconds of the first unveiling event's conclusion.

I can't blame people for doubting the Tegra X1 architecture. Like with the first wave on consoles, there was a notable limit with the battery life, somewhat undermining the Switch's main gimmick of being portable. That's not even getting into the obvious compromises with games.
